Ringneck Haven is now offering deer hunting for their clients. We will be planting food plots, managing habitat for deer, erecting shooting stands, and otherwise preparing our land and ourselves to offer you the best deer hunting available in south-central Kansas. To insure that our hunters have the best possible hunt and opportunity to put a trophy on the wall, we are offering a somewhat different type of hunting arrangement than you will normally encounter. Before we get into the specifics, though, some additional information about our habitat.

As we stated in the upland game bird section of our website, our controlled shooting area consists of over 2000 acres of prime hunting land. Our deer habitat consists of all that land plus several hundred acres of other land not included in our controlled shooting area. Our deer hunting habitat includes and is adjacent to several irrigated fields growing corn and soybeans, wheat and milo fields, alfalfa, and several hundred acres of pasture and CRP, much of which is bisected by a spring fed creek that is lined with timber. Our deer have access to plentiful food, water and shelter 365 days per year, and you can see the difference. In addition, we actively plant and manage food plots to enhance our wild game populations, and to bring in the surrounding deer and wildlife to these plentiful food and water sources.

Now it is time for the unusual elements of our deer hunting offer. First, we are limiting the number of hunters to 4 per year! That’s right, except for one individual that has retained hunting rights on a small part of our territory, we will be booking only 4 hunters for the entire season. As you can see, we are serious about growing and retaining the big bucks for our clients. The second unusual aspect of our offer is that you don’t have hunting rights for just 3 days or 5 days, but THE ENTIRE SEASON. That’s right, you are not limited to a three or five day window to hunt, you have the entire season allowed by your preferred method of hunting to hunt as many times for as many days as you want to obtain your deer. For example, the bow season in Kansas starts October 1 and ends December 31. You would be able to hunt as many days during this period as you choose to fill your permit. The only limitation of our hunt is that you can only harvest one deer per season.

A hunter or group of hunters that book a hunt in our first year will have first option to come back the following year under the same terms and conditions. We will do everything we can to help you obtain a permit, but if we are unsuccessful and you are not able to draw one, your deposit will be refunded. The hunt package includes access to all our territory and a place to clean your deer, but does not include meals or lodging, although we will be glad to help you arrange local lodging and meals. The cost for this package is $2,500 per hunter, but we will reduce the price to $2,250 if a party of three books three spots, or we will reduce the price to $2000 per hunter if all 4 spots are taken by one group. We believe you won’t find a better deer hunting value anywhere.
