Please take a moment and look at some of the fine features that our resort offers.

One of our most important features is our collection of working dogs. We and our guides keep a good selection of various breeds of pointers as well as a pair of black labs that we use on the European Hunts or in our larger CRP fields. Pictured at right is one of our German Shorthairs.

Pictured above is one of our younger shorthairs. 2006 was his first full hunting season and he is already beginning to show a classic pointing Style and a good nose. In addition to shorthairs we feature brittanies, English pointers, an English Setter, as well as Labs

One achievement that we are most proud of is our constantly expanding food plot program to enhance our wild bird population and to retain our released birds for our hunters to go after more than once. We currently have expanded this program to include over 25 acres of food plots, not counting another 20 acres of USDA approved quail habitat strips, and another several hundred acres of irrigated crops, primarily corn and soybeans, which support our large wild bird populations.

Part of the success of our wild bird program is due to the spring fed creek that winds its way through the heart of our primary hunting lands, providing a consistent source of fresh water for not only our bird population, but also for the abundant deer and wild turkey that can be found on our hunting property. It is these wild game elements of our resort that sets it apart from other hunting resorts to keep our friends and customers coming back.

One of the favorite types of habitat for our smaller groups are the waterways that snake along and through some of our irrigated fields. Our resort contains over 2 miles of these waterways, and they are the perfect size for groups of two to four hunters. In addition to the waterways, we have recently planted over 3 miles of USDA approved quail habitat enhancement strips, that will provide unmatched habitat for both our wild quail populations and pheasant, and we are sure they will become a hunters favorite.

A favorite of our large groups is the larger tracts of CRP grass available for our hunters. This allows our larger groups to hunt together, using several dogs and guides at the same time, going after the large number of pheasant that naturally inhabit this habitat and the released birds the we supplement the habitat with. We have found this to be our most challenging type of shooting next to the European hunts because a big rooster or two can pop up at any time.
