TURKEY HUNTING

Ringneck Haven is now offering Spring Turkey hunts in addition to our upland bird hunts. During a normal spring season, we have between 2 and 4 flocks of turkeys wandering our controlled shooting area, spending much of their time along the nearly 2 miles of creek bottom land, and venturing out on the edges of irrigated fields and wheat to eat and establish their breeding groups.

As with the deer hunting, we will be severely limiting the number of hunters we will accept for the spring turkey season. We are doing this to maintain our established flocks, give our hunters their best opportunity to bag some large toms, and to give each hunter plenty of hunting habitat all to himself. The total number of hunters we will accept for the spring season will be 6. Our hunt will consist of a three day hunt that includes a guide and lodging, but no meals. Additionally, our hunt gives you the opportunity to fill two turkey permits during your hunt at no additional charge.

The cost for our turkey hunt package is $600 per person, but if you book with a group of 2 or more and hunt at the same time, we will drop the price to $550 per person. We are so confident that you will have an opportunity to get a good shot at a tom that we make a guarantee on our turkey hunt. If you are unable to get a good shot at a minimum of one tom during your scheduled hunt, we will extend your hunt for up to two additional days at no charge.
